UFC 286: Edwards vs. Usman 3

UFC 286: Edwards vs. Usman 3 is an upcoming mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that will take place on March 18, 2023, at The O₂ Arena in London, England

The event is expected to feature a headline UFC Welterweight Championship trilogy fight between Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman, a former champion and winner of The Ultimate Fighter: American Top Team vs. Blackzilians welterweight competition.

Usman previously defeated Edwards in their initial encounter at UFC on Fox: dos Anjos vs. Cowboy 2 in December 2015, but Edwards won the title in their second meeting at UFC 278 in August 2022 with a fifth-round knockout.

A lightweight fight between Michał Figlak and Chris Duncan was originally scheduled for the event, but Figlak withdrew due to injury and was replaced by Omar Morales.

A featherweight bout between Nathaniel Wood and Lerone Murphy was also planned for the event. However, Wood had to withdraw because of a leg injury, and it remains uncertain whether the UFC will seek a replacement for him.

Finally, a welterweight fight between Gunnar Nelson and Daniel Rodriguez was slated for this event, but Rodriguez withdrew for undisclosed reasons, and Bryan Barberena stepped in as his replacement.
